Summer Jubilee Concert
Singing reduces your stress, increases your circulation, combats loneliness and lifts your spirits in the same way that eating chocolate or laughing does.
We’re an amateur choral society, providing an opportunity for people in and around the Tandridge district to sing in a choir under professional direction.
We perform a variety of music by classical, romantic and 20th Century composers. We have performed pieces by Handel, Bach, Rossini, Mozart, Elgar, Fauré, Britten and Rutter. You’ll also find us incorporating a range of lighter music, such as pieces from ‘Encores for Choirs’, and composers such as Lloyd-Webber, Gershwin and Paul Simon.
We work under the expert direction of our Director of Music, Michael Burbidge, a versatile, experienced and professional musician. Michael trains choirs, he is a teacher and also an accompanist. He also makes sure we have a balanced programme blending the familiar with the new.
We are members of Tandridge Leisure Arts whose job is to develop arts in the area. We are also affiliated to Making Music, funded by the Arts Council, which both represents and supports amateur performing groups throughout the country.
There are no catches or hidden charges and we will be really grateful for your donations.
The easyfundraising App is also available to download on your mobile or PC through the App Store or Google Play.
Thank you for your support.
